Jonny Neeley
David has been coaching volleyball since 2003, as a lower level head
coach at Hart High School, and as a lower level head coach and varsity
assistant coach at Valencia High School. In his combined 9 seasons as
a boys and girls head coach and assistant coach, David's team have
gone 84-3 against Foothill League competition. David's lower level
teams have been very successful in each tournament attended, and
have been able to beat a number of quality opponents. His varsity
teams have won several premiere tournaments and won the 2006 CIF
championship with an overall record of 34-2.
Nate graduated from Valencia High School in 2003, where he was a key
part of the Vikings first CIF championship winning team. His coaching
career started at Valencia high school where he was the co-freshman
coach and assistant varsity coach throughout the 2003 girls season. He
then coached the freshman boys team at Valencia in 2004, then later
was a lower level coach and an assistant for the girls varsity team. He
currently coaches boys and girls volleyball at West Ranch High School,
where he led his lower level teams to a second place finish in 2007 and
2008. He also is the boys and girls head varsity coach, where he has
led both teams to the playoffs in just his first season.
Jonny was a first team Foothill League volleyball player in 2004. He is
currently a student at BYU, where is a majoring in physical education.
He has taken classes taught by the BYU head volleyball coaches, in
which time he has learned new strategies, new techniques, and new
philosophies.
